First, I think that I just reinvited a bunch of people. Sorry! I hit the wrong button. That's why I'm practicing now, instead of waiting until I get to India.
Second, Deb Dreyer, the India specialist, called India and talked to the lawyer. She said that the documents have all been submitted to the court, but no date has been assigned yet. She said to call back in 10 days.
On the one hand, this could mean that we will get a court date in 10 days, in which case the date will probably be the first week of May, and we'll leave towards the end of April.
Or, it could mean that the lawyer wants Deb to stop bugging her, and figures that the court date will have been assigned before 10 days from now. In which case, things might be moving about a week faster.
Or, we could still be waiting in May.
I'm practicing deep, calm breathing.
In which our heroes, having determined on adding to their family, go forth to accomplish their purpose with great good cheer.
