Let's see:
1) Vindya, LiJun and I are all in separate time zones. Life is foggy and unclear. I've offered the girls a reward for finding my glasses.
2) My plan was to go to Girl Scout Camp last weekend as a chaperone, but at the last minute, I couldn't make it. One of the other mothers came to pick up LiJun, and I could not make coherent sentences. (At one point, she put her hand on my shoulder and told me to get some sleep.) Sadly, the second they left, Vindya went into full meltdown mode, because her sister left. She cried (pinched, slapped, and bit) all night for her "Sistah LiJun." She was miserable all weekend. Sunday, she woke me up at 1:17 to remind me that we were going to go get LiJun. This counts as going wrong, rather than nice family bonding, because I was up all weekend and am still sleep-deprivation-addled.
3) The three of us went to visit Lilly. Vindya totally freaked out. She was terrified to a degree beyond scared by the sight of Lilly. While this probably reflects a certain visceral understanding of who's the boss in that (as in every) relationship, it isn't a good sign.
4) Sunday afternoon, we went to see Maui. Vindya freaked out as above. After attempting to have a normal conversation with me, Susan sent me to bed and watched her while I got some sleep. She said we can't have Maui back until Vindya calms down, as much out of concern for Maui as for Vindya.
5) We're still not unpacked.
6) LiJun is shocked at how annoying and interfering Vindya is, and wants to send her back.
Despite all this, things are slowly improving. About half the laundry is done, the sink is shining, and Vindya is willing to sleep alone in her own bed for at least part of the night. All I need is to hang on until Thursday when my mom arrives, and I can get a whole night of actual sleep and back on my feet.
